Yolanda Rodriguez

Development Coordinator

Yolanda joined the Galveston Bay Foundation team in August 2021 and brings a strong passion for protecting the environment and supporting her community. She earned her B.S. in Biology from the University of Houston in 2017 and spent over 7 years working in the animal care field, where she developed a deep appreciation for wildlife and conservation. Her volunteer work with the Houston Zoo helped shape her interest in protecting natural habitats and inspired her to pursue a career in conservation. Drawn to Galveston Bay Foundation’s mission and meaningful work, Yolanda is proud to be part of a team dedicated to preserving the Bay for future generations.

Outside of work, Yolanda enjoys spending time with her family, spoiling her beloved fur baby, and trying new cuisines and local dining spots.
