Our connection to Galveston Bay runs deep. You’ll find us in schools, neighborhoods, on the water, and in government — working daily to protect this vital resource.
We envision a Bay where wildlife thrives, communities flourish, and future generations remain connected to the water that sustains us all.
Through our five core programs Education, Advocacy, Restoration, Conservation & Protection we drive lasting impacts for our community and the environment.
Education:
Inspiring the next generation through hands-on, STEM-based outdoor learning to build future conservation leaders.
Restoration:
Partnering with volunteers to rebuild shorelines, remove debris, and restore wetlands and oyster reefs to heal the Bay.
Water Protection:
Ensuring clean, safe water through monitoring, pollution reduction, and empowering communities to safeguard this lifeline.
Land Conservation:
Protecting over 17,500 acres of coastal habitat that provide clean water, wildlife refuge, recreation, and resilience against storms.
Advocacy:
Giving the Bay a strong voice by uniting community members, businesses, and policymakers to champion policies that protect the Bay’s health and future.
