We are committed to sound science and research.
Currently we have five main program areas in which we work on behalf of the Bay.
Share your time. Save the bay.

Join Galveston Bay Foundation as we work around the Bay to protect the vital natural resource we're all connected to.

Just as the wetlands and marshes of the Bay connect the land to the sea, our volunteers connect our conservation efforts to community. Our volunteers are helping us to restore native habitats, protect and monitor water quality, educate the public, and inspire action for the Bay.
Volunteers can choose to help at our community and special events, or can dedicate themselves to train for specialized roles in water protection, education, outreach, and oyster habitat restoration.
