Suzanne Simpson

Suzanne joined the Galveston Bay Foundation in March 2022, bringing her experience in conservation real estate transactions and her passion for ecology. Suzanne especially enjoys working with landowners to protect the coastal heritage and native habitats of the Galveston Bay watershed. Her conservation ethic is driven by the interdependence of environmental and human health. Suzanne received a B.S. in Biology from Texas A&M University and an M.S. in Interdisciplinary Ecology from the University of Florida. She has spent most of her career with land trusts, focusing on preserving and maintaining Texas’ natural resources. Suzanne’s favorite moments are found outdoors, with an ideal combination of family, friends, and salamanders.
