Starla Lawhon Dyer

Starla joined the Galveston Bay Foundation team in the fall of 2024. She graduated from the West Texas A&M University with a B.S in Wildlife Biology. As an undergrad, she travelled across the country looking for intern opportunities to further her career and worked with various types of birds. Starla grew up in Central Texas and thinks the Bay is such a special place. She loves watching reality tv shows, birding, and spending time with her family and friends.
