Rachel Sunsine

Rachel joined Galveston Bay Foundation full-time in August 2024 after working part-time as an Environmental Educator since August 2023. She Graduated from Texas A&M University Galveston Campus with a degree in Marine Biology and Marine Fisheries in December 2023. Before joining GBF, she spent two summers interning with Texas Parks and Wildlife-first as a fish hatchery technician and later as a Game Warden Intern. She loves spending time outdoors, sharing her knowledge and love for the environment with students. In her free time, she enjoys fishing, hiking, and camping. Rachel is dedicated to helping conserve Galveston Bay by inspiring future generations to appreciate its importance and beauty.
