Matt Singer

Director of Conservation

Matt joined the Galveston Bay Foundation in 2010. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences from Texas A&M University and previously worked as a wildlife biologist with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. As Director of Conservation, Matt leads efforts in perpetual land conservation, stewardship and management of protected lands, and habitat restoration and enhancement across Galveston Bay and throughout its watershed. An avid outdoorsman, Matt spends much of his free time in the bay, bayous, and marshes—experiences that strengthen his personal connection to the places and resources GBF works to conserve.
