Mary Dobberstine

Mary joined the Galveston Bay Foundation in March 2024, bringing 30 years of experience in financial leadership and operations from her career at Invesco Ltd., where she most recently served as North America Head of Fund Treasury. She currently serves as President of the Galveston Bay Area Chapter of Texas Master Naturalist. Outside of work, Mary enjoys chasing fireflies and waterfalls, leading night hikes, running, photographing natural landscapes, and spending time with her family. Born and raised in the Houston–Galveston area, she has a deep appreciation for the region’s biodiversity and is passionate about preserving it for future generations.
