Emily Billin

Emily has been part of the Galveston Bay Foundation’s education team since July 2021.  She graduated from Monmouth College in 2017 with a Bachelor of Art in Biology. Before joining GBF, she worked in environmental restoration in the Midwest, spent a summer interning on Lake Michigan aboard the
worked in a brown recluse spider lab, and served as a youth director for a church. Emily’s favorite part of working for GBF getting to experience nature through the eyes of students. She loves to hear the questions they have about every fish, bug, and plant that they come across.  When she isn’t at work, Emily spends time walking her dog, crocheting, and brewing tea.
