
Brad Robbins
2nd Vice Chairman/Treasurer
Brad Robbins is a member of the Board of Directors at GBF. He is currently serving as the Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee, as well as Vice Chair of the Board. In addition to the Finance Committee, Brad is a member of the Land/Conservation Committee.
Brad has served on various committees, including board chair of the local, regional, and national boards of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Child Advocates (CASA), and Texas CASA in Austin.
Brad has extensive conservation easement and land management experience based on managing his own family ranch and timber plantation. This includes working with other land trusts and federal and state government agencies. He spends significant time on environmental and conservation initiatives in Arkansas and Texas. Brad and his family have a house on Galveston Bay, and he is an avid fisherman, sailor, and gardener.
Brad is a graduate of the US Merchant Marine Academy and has an MBA in Finance & Accounting from Tulane University. He spent 13 years as a consultant at Price Waterhouse (PWC) and then founded Baker Robbins & Company, an international legal management and technology consulting firm (currently HBR consulting), where he was CEO until retiring in 2011.
Mr. Robbins has been honored as EY Entrepreneur of the Year in Houston (2000), the Greater Houston Partnership CEO of the Year (2001), and most recently in 2024, was honored as Arkansas Tree Farmer of the Year. In 2025, he and his wife Mary, were honorees at the annual GBF Imagine Gala.
